We’re the first and fastest growing music-based “social-retailing” network on the planet because the MUSIC FAN is now able to “represent,” promote and help support INDEPENDENT BANDS directly by selling their music for them.

FANS can become a part of any BAND’S retailing army by “linking” their Unsung Hero® profile to their favorite artists’, simply by clicking on their “REPRESENT” button. In doing so, FANS’ profiles are automatically armed with all of that BAND’S sell-able tracks and ring tones, as well as their schedule information.

When sales are generated for a particular BAND/ARTIST through a FAN’S profile, that BAND/ARTIST is automatically credited 50% of the transaction—-the FAN, 25%.

In this context, FAN profiles can now be seen as STORE FRONTS (points of sales and distribution)for BANDS.

Imagine if a BAND’S 5,000 “friends” on MySpace (which is not uncommon) were a BAND’S “FANS” on Unsung Hero. That would mean that that BAND would have 5,000 store fronts, all selling their music for them.

Unsung Hero is a service meant to empower independent BANDS and their FANS to the point where the corporate recording “deal” is no longer the “be-all” and “end-all” bent of the “career” musician.

SIGN UP as a BAND: a BAND is anyone—an independent group or artist—who has their own music to upload and sell, and is 18 or older.

(note: anyone can sign up, create a profile, listen to music and social network. But you must 18 or older to represent bands and sell their music).

FANS! CREATE YOUR UH ARMY!

CREATE A PROFILE: Sign up and create a FAN profile. Use your admin. section to customize your profile’s look by uploading pictures, writing a bio and choosing various color schemes.
NETWORK—make FRIENDS: Browse UHrev.com and add friends to your profile—message people, leave comments, and participate in blogs and forums.
REPRESENT BANDS: If you’re 18 or older, seek out BAND profiles, listen to their PLAYLISTS (their music), then choose to represent the BANDS you like best by clicking on their “REPRESENT THIS BAND” button (at the top of every BAND profile).
WATCH YOUR MUSIC STORE GROW: After choosing to represent a band, return to your FAN profile and check out your “MUSIC STORE.” You’ll find that all of that BAND’S music is now available—and for sale—on your profile as well.
MANAGE YOUR PLAYLIST: As you choose to represent bands, manage your playlist as you see fit, showcasing and advertising the music you like the most.
YOU GET 25% COMMISSION: Every time someone visits your profile’s MUSIC STORE or PLAYLIST and purchases a track, album or ringtone from one of your BAND affiliates, your account will be credited for the transaction (25% commission rate per each transaction).
GET PAID: After your account reaches/exceeds $20 (US dollars/or foreign equivalent), your profile will be marked as an “account payable,” making you eligible for a commission pay out at the end of that month’s transaction cycle.

NETWORK, PROMOTE & SELL: Make use of your BAND’s exclusive forum, blog, upcoming show calendar and playlist because your BAND gets PAID 75% of every track, ringtone and album that you sell directly from your profile and 50% of everything your FANS sell for you.
